Bulas Grande Reserva Touriga Nacional 2009: this wine was produced from grapes of the Touriga Nacional variety, from vineyards situated in Quinta da FozCeira and Quinta da Costa de Baixo.
It displays an intense ruby colour and a floral aroma, with notes of violets and minerals scents. Its complexity is enhanced by aromas of vanilla and black fruit, plums and strawberry. In the mouth the wine is full bodied, revealing an excellent structure, with well balanced acidity and smooth wood tannins. Finish is very long, fresh, sweet and harmonious.
It a good match for traditional Mediterranean food, roasted meat, game dishes and spicy food.
The wine should be kept in a cool and dark place (12 - 14º), in horizontal position. It should be served at 16-18 degrees C.
Some sediment is to be expected, and so it is advisable to use a decanter.
